Website Traffic

Website traffic is up today +1,350% mo/mo according to Squarespace. All because of this blog. Absolutely because of my surveying blog. Unless you count the website traffic I got sent by a nice surveyor in Colorado who saw the value in the test prep material I make once a weekday. He creates test prep material for survey people and sent out a link to my website to his 10,000 followers on linked in. About 60 of them visited my site today. It actually took about 2 hours of work to clean up that section of the site to better collect the information I need to send the emails to them directly and without a lot of unnecessary effort. All of this I won’t make any money on directly. But indirectly I could get more website traffic, which is what I covet at the moment. That’s why I blog. Plus I really am coming to see this void of nothingness called the internet as a close friend. I think I’m ready to TikTok now… just kidding. I’ll get to that on the 12th of Never.

This is all entirely unrelated to the second half of this post which is a short rant on the mysiteplan.com guy. If you know nothing of this guy, don’t bother looking into it more than knowing that he was profiting off of illegal and substandard non-survey site plans. Site plans are a topic that I will need to devote several if not more blog posts to. It is simple - Get A Survey! It is a big gamble to try and save money without a survey. You might end up spending a lot more later when you need to fix the problems that were caused or not solved when no survey is performed. For those of you keeping track: Site Plan was the magic phrase I was trying to get the search engines to hone in on there. I will write more on this later, but for now I will stick with the same poor joke as yesterday and bid you farewell with a friendly: Get a survey!
